Michael Hage is a Montreal Canadiens prospect and 2024 first-round pick who is having an impressive rookie season at the University of Michigan.

At just 18 years old, he has quickly established himself as the Wolverines' best forward.

Playing on the first line, the center has accumulated 17 points in 13 NCAA games and he leads all rookies with an average of 1.31 points per game and he is even surpassing the talented James Hagens.

His offensive skills are undeniable and he excels as a playmaker while also creating his own scoring chances.

His precise shot and agile hands make him a constant threat in the offensive zone.

However, according to Whittaker Heart, Michael Hage suffered an ankle injury during practice on Thursday morning.

This injury made him miss the Wolverines' Friday and Saturday night games.

«Michael Hage injured his ankle during practice on Thursday. He missed last night's game and is still not in the lineup tonight for Michigan,» reported Whittaker Heart via /r/Habs.

His absence from the last two games raises concerns about the severity of the injury and an official update from the University of Michigan will be needed to learn more about his condition.

Michael Hage is a very promising talent who could become a top-six forward for the Montreal Canadiens in the next few years.

Several experts even believe he has the potential to develop into a dominant offensive player in the NHL, maybe even an elite one.

And you, what do you think Michael Hage will become for the Montreal Canadiens in the next years?
