Signature alert for the Montreal Canadiens organization

The Montreal Canadiens organization signed Daryk Dubé-Plouffe to the Trois-Rivières Lions, their ECHL affiliate.

The Lions confirmed the news on their social media platforms and warmly welcomed the 22-year-old forward.

From Trois-Rivières, Daryk Dubé-Plouffe is 5-foot-10 and weighs 161 pounds.

He is also a product of the Quebec Remparts in the QMJHL and he had a stint with the Lions in 2023-2024.

This season, he showed his talent in the SPHL with the Knoxville Ice Bears, where he scored 17 points in 27 games.

Beyond what he can do on the ice, Dubé-Plouffe is an accomplished Dek hockey player, competing in the LNHB with the Louiseville team where he notched 40 points in 20 games, including 23 goals and all of that as a rookie.

The Trois-Rivières Lions have an excellent campaign in the ECHL and are holding the third place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 22-6-4.

Dubé-Plouffe's return will add depth to an already good roster and bring hometown pride to a team poised for continued success this season.

As Dubé-Plouffe joins the Lions, all eyes will be on his performance and potential to climb the ranks in the Canadiens' system.
