A game between Toronto and Montreal on a Saturday night at the Bell Centre, of course!
The Canadiens organization, as we know, always has a lot of class and always thinks about the little details that make the difference.
The Maple Leafs organization is also very historic, although less prestigious. We can clearly see that some details are less important to them.
On Saturday night, they held a very touching ceremony to mark Remembrance Day, with Canadians who fought for our country.
Our country is bilingual and the people who defended it speak both languages. It would be the least we could do to do the national anthem in a bilingual version afterwards.
And no, this very important detail escaped the Maple Leafs and the anthem was only done in English.
When you think that the Canadian anthem is performed in a bilingual version even in the United States when the Canadiens go there, I find it very negligent that this is not the case on an important evening like tonight in Toronto.
Regardless, the ceremony was still very successful and touching. It's really too bad that what comes out the most from this, from my point of view, is a negative point.
And you, what do you think? I remind you that even the Dallas Stars and the Florida Panthers, to name a few, perform the Canadian national anthem in a bilingual version.
