Since his return at the end of November, Patrik Laine has been finding ways for the Montreal Canadiens' fans to love him. In fact, the Finn has been involving himself in the community and has been having big impacts on the ice.

After losing their past two games, Martin St. Louis' team are receiving the Buffalo Sabres at the Bell Center. As they're both struggling, both teams are looking to find back their game and go back to the win column.

Well, Patrik Laine sure got the message tonight as he's having a night to remember! In fact, the 26-year-old forward scored his 4th, 5th and 6th goals of the 2024-25 campaign. Here's all his three goals of the game so far:

Following his third of the game, the fans gave him a huge ovation. Anthony Marcotte, journalist from TVA Sports, posted an overview of the moment:

The fans also made sure to send their hats on the ice following Patrik's hat trick. It's also the first hat trick of a Habs player this season.

With his three goals tonight, it makes it 6 goals in 7 games for the Finn. He's now 4th on the Canadiens' top scorers list.

After 40 minutes of play, the Montreal Canadiens are leading 6-1. Things are looking good for Montreal, but we surely can't say the same for the Sabres who seem on their way to lose an 11th game in a row.

In the first period, Joel Armia opened the scoring with his 5th of the season. Juraj Slafkovsky and Josh Anderson also respectively added their 3th and 6th goal of the campaign.
