Lane Hutson scores his first NHL goal
Tonight, the Montreal Canadiens are facing against the Winnipeg Jets and after their 9-2 loss against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday, Martin St. Louis' team will surely try to give a better performance.
Well, in the first period, Lane Hutson took care of making all the Habs' fans smile.
In fact, during his 30th NHL game in the Bettman circuit, the rookie defenseman finally scored his first goal.
After obtaining 19 assists in 29 games this season, the American-born scored with a wrist shot, giving no chance to Connor Hellebuyck.
Since the beginning of the 2024-25 campaign, Hutson has shown his talent many times and has been impressive with his level of play.
The future looks bright on the blue line for the Montreal Canadiens, especially with the other defensemen coming up such as David Reinbacher and Logan Mailloux.
The Habs are now trailing 2-1 against one of the best teams in the league. It will be interesting if the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge will come back during the second period.
