There was a lot of action today with the Montreal Canadiens.

After the announcement of the recall of forward Joshua Roy from the Laval Rocket and the return to the regular uniform of Patrik Laine to the team's practice, Kent Hughes made another announcement.

We just learned that forward Lucas Condotta has been traded to the Laval Rocket.

This is rather unexpected news, given his good performance since his recall two weeks ago.

The Habs' fourth line has never been as involved and energetic as it has been since his arrival in the team.

However, one factor was working against him: if he reached 10 games played, he would have had to go through waivers to return to the farm club.

Hughes therefore did not want to wait any longer, after the 27-year-old played seven games with the CH, where he scored one goal.

With the addition of Roy to the roster, Condotta's return to Laval was predictable, even if he has offered solid performances in the NHL.

In nine games this year in the AHL, the Rocket captain has scored four points.

In total, in his career in the Bettman circuit, Lucas Condotta, who was never drafted, has scored two goals in 11 games.
