A little earlier today, there was a special guest at the Montreal Canadiens' training, live from the CN Sports Complex in Brossard.

As a matter a fact, it was also the case a few weeks ago, the former Bleu-Blanc-Rouge player, Marc Bureau, was present to give some advice to the CH centers.

Known for his effectiveness in the faceoff circle, Marc Bureau, who wore the colors of the Habs from 1995-1996 to 1997-1998, provided some very interesting advice to Montreal players during his last visit.

We also noticed a notable improvement in this department during the games following training with the specialist.

It is for this reason in particular that I think the Canadiens centers should have a small session with Marc Bureau every week, to improve their technique in this very important face of the game.

An audition at the center for Juraj Slafkovsky?

However, some supporters noticed an interesting detail in the many photos shared on social media.

With that being said, even if Slovak forward Juraj Slafkovsky has never played at center since his NHL debut, number 20 also took part in drills with Nick Suzuki, Jake Evans, Kirby Dach, Alex Newhook, Christian Dvorak and Lucas Condotta.

«We work on technique in the faceoff circle before practice.

Players participating: Condotta, Suzuki, Newhook, Evans, Dvorak, Dach and Slafkovsky.

Have we just gotten a clue regarding a change that Martin St-Louis would like to make soon?

We know that Maxime Truman has repeatedly said that he would like to see Juraj Slafkovsky play at center because of his imposing size, but now this possibility seems more and more likely.

See the images in question, right here:

Let's say that the first overall pick in 2022 will need a little more practice, he who seemed to have difficulty against Lucas Condotta.

Knowing that Patrik Laine will soon return to play, is Martin St-Louis evaluating the possibility of creating a two-headed monster with Juraj Slafkovsky (6'3" and 225 pounds) and the Finnish forward (6'4 " and 208 pounds) on the second unit?

One thing is certain, this will definitely be an issue to watch in the coming days!

Since the start of the season, number 20 of the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge has struggled to have the same confidence as last year in offensive territory, having only totaled one goal and ten assists in 16 games.
