The Montreal Canadiens lost again on Saturday night, for the 6th time in a row.

It's starting to get worrisome, as there's no sense of urgency.

The players, for the most part, don't seem to be bothered by the situation.

The team needs an electroshock and it could come from an expected return to play.

Indeed, Patrik Laine started skating again last week and according to Renaud Lavoie, his return could be quicker than expected.

The journalist mentioned it during the game and it took everyone by surprise. According to him, Laine could return at the end of November, if all goes well.

It's certain that the arrival of Patrik Laine will help the Canadiens, but he's not a savior.

The lack of effort is widespread at the moment for the Canadiens. Everyone is looking for themselves, except maybe Brendan Gallagher.

It all starts on defense and it's a total mess in their zone. Needless to say, Laine is not a defensive specialist.

Clearly, there is something wrong with the coach's speech for the players to be so unmotivated.

Even Nick Suzuki wasn't giving any effort last night, it was pitiful to see.

When the team captain seems to be sulking, it says a lot.
