Yanni Gourde traded to the Montreal Canadiens?
Like the Montreal Canadiens, the Seattle Kraken are also having a rough start to the season.
While the team's record isn't that bad, 6-8-1, it's highly likely that general manager Ron Francis will make some of his players available for trade if things don't turn around.
This was confirmed by Daily Faceoff insider Frank Seravalli recently and among the players most likely to leave the Kraken organization are forwards Brandon Tanev and Yanni Gourde.
As reported by the site Go Nordiques, the Quebec forward does not seem to be on the trade market at the moment, but if the Kraken were to be a selling team at the trade deadline, several teams would undoubtedly be interested in adding a player of Gourde's caliber to their lineup.

With the Canadiens' difficult season, the arrival of Yanni Gourde would undoubtedly be beneficial for Martin St-Louis who could use him in all sorts of ways, as is the case in Seattle.
We remind you that he won two Stanley Cups with the Tampa Bay Lightning before joining the Kraken during the expansion draft in the summer of 2021 and even if he is not having a great start to the season with only three assists in 15 games, we will have to monitor this file closely in the coming weeks.
