It wasn't easy, but the Montreal Canadiens won 7-5 against the Sabres in Buffalo on Monday afternoon.

Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki both scored twice in the win, ending a six-game losing streak. It was about time!

However, if it hadn't been for Cayden Primeau's generosity, the Canadiens wouldn't have had to fight so hard to win. The young goalie allowed 5 goals on 14 shots before being pulled from the game.

The goalie is trying his best to make his mark in the NHL, and he's letting lemons slip by. Several per game.

He's simply not up to par right now and according to Denis Gauthier, the rubber band is stretched to the max.

He wouldn't be surprised if the young goalie has already played his last game with the Canadiens.

Personally, I can't wait for Kent Hughes to do something to change the situation. Primeau is not of the caliber and he has proven it several times.

He had some nice flashes last year, but this is worse than ever. He is almost pitiful because he is so out of it.

In 7 appearances, he has tasted victory only once and his statistics are very bad. Whether it is to support Samuel Montembeault or simply to improve the situation, the Canadiens must move.
