Great surprise observed live from Brossard and major development for the Canadiens forward
In the last hours, a great surprise was observed at the Montreal Canadiens' practice, live from the CN Sports Complex in Brossard.
In fact, 26-year-old Finnish forward Patrik Laine was officially back at practice with his teammates, and this, for the very first time since his famous knee injury during training camp.

Obviously, this is a significant step in his rehabilitation process, and he could potentially join Martin St-Louis' lineup by the end of November.
We'll have to wait for an official announcement from the Montreal organization to know the exact date of his return to play, but however, it's still very encouraging to see that he's progressing so well.
Acquired in a trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets this summer, Patrik Laine will want to take advantage of this opportunity to relaunch his career, as he's been sidelined more often than not in recent years.
Let's just hope he'll be able to stay healthy this season!
We can expect the 2nd overall pick in 2016 to be used on Martin St-Louis' top-6, as he could make a significant offensive contribution. One thing is for sure, there is no doubt that the addition of Patrik Laine will greatly help the Montreal Canadiens be more dangerous in opposing territory.
Since his debut in the Bettman circuit, the forward has accumulated 388 points, including 204 goals, in 480 games with the Jets and Blue Jackets.
